Connect your compatible EV or smart home charger with your OVO Energy account and opt in for smart charging. Plug-in any time and choose when you want your vehicle charged by. OVO will control your smart charging, and you'll pay just 7p/kWh. If you need your vehicle charged straight away, you can override the charging schedule at any time and pay your standard home electricity rate. Requires a smart meter. The Scottish Power EV Saver tariff is now available for ScottishPower customers. To switch to the EV Saver tariff, you simply need to be a ScottishPower customer, have a Smart Meter and drive an EV.
Existing Direct Debit customers, and new customers that join the Standard Variable tariff, can apply for the EV Saver tariff in their online account.
Good Energy (the owners of ZapMap) have created a tariff to allow EV owners charge cheaply and 'greenly' for 5 hours overnight. You must have a smart meter though! Good Energy tariffs are provided using 100% renewable energy..good!
